1. Purpose
The SunAltaLab Engineering Lifecycle establishes the standard process used to design, implement, operate, and continuously improve enterprise infrastructure.
The objective of this lifecycle is to ensure every solution is developed consistently while emphasizing security, reliability, maintainability, operational excellence, and comprehensive documentation.
This engineering lifecycle applies to all SunAltaLab infrastructure projects regardless of technology or platform. The depth of each phase is scaled according to the complexity, risk, and business impact of the solution.
